The holidays are over, and winter is with us for the long haul. Whether the snow and ice are already fraying your nerves or you're embracing the season, one thing that always makes winter a little warmer is beer! And we've got some great ones coming out for you in the next couple of months.
First up: Revilo India Red Lager, our February seasonal (it's an India RED lager, after all). This is a hoppy, punchy brew -- no, really, we mean it: it's made with Chinook, Saaz, Hallertau, Cascade, AND Tettnanger hops. It is smooth and delicious and at 6.8%, gives you that warm fuzzy feeling. Revilo, we heart you.
Next, High -n- Dry Rye Pilsner joins us once again! This simple brew is made on a Canadian Pils base with a ton of rye and Saaz hops to provide some zippy, spicy bitterness. 5% abv / 36 IBUs.
Shiny New Toy is a copper lager aged on oak, and it is oh-so-smooth and delicious. Complemented by vanilla notes from the oak and built on a big base of Munich malt, Shiny New Toy is one of our most sought-after winter brews. Available soon!
Hunger in the Hunt needed a little extra time to do its thing, and it's just about ready now. This huge beer is brewed with four different hops (Cascade, Chinook, Warrior, and Columbus), and oh boy, is it juicy-fresh and delicious. The last time we made this, we barely caught our breath and it was gone, gone, gone! So if you were despairing the end of hoppy season with the arrival of cold air, fear not: this is one hop monster that will keep you warm and toasty at 11%+ abv.
Carcajou is a rye beer with a really fun grain bill, with stars like Rye, Canadian Pils, and Honey Malt. This smooth, flavorful brew is balanced by just a touch of Northern Brewer hops. Available soon!
