Wednesday, May 13 marks the return of Common Reaction California-style Common! This is another one of our hybrid brews, meaning we ferment it with a lager yeast at a higher temperature. This results in a warmer, fruitier flavor and feel to the beer, while still maintaining our characteristically crisp lager finish.
This reddish-amber brew greets the nose with delicate, layered notes of fruit and malt. The crisp, flavorful body shines layer by layer, with Pils and two-row grain providing much of the backbone. We exclusively used Northern Brewer hops, so keep your tastebuds primed to dissect that flavor — Northern Brewer hops are known for woody, rustic, minty flavors.
